From pre-kindergarten through 12 grade, Marseilles Elementary School is committed to providing the best educational opportunities possible. While majority of Marseilles children attend Marseilles Elementary School, portions of Marseilles are served by Milton Pope School and Rutland Grade School, followed by completion at Ottawa Township High School or Seneca Township High School. Marquette High School – Academy is located in Ottawa and is a private grade and high school that offers excellent private education and much opportunities.

Higher Education

Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) is an easy 20-minute drive to the main campus located in Oglesby. Established in 1967, IVCC provides comprehensive services to enhance the educational learning environment. A wide variety of courses at IVCC are specifically designed for transfer, enabling students to easily transfer to baccalaureate degree programs. In 2010, IVCC opened a satellite campus in nearby Ottawa.
