Levee Project was a Success

By providing protection from inundation to the City’s North Wastewater Treatment Facility, the Levee Improvement Project not only provides protection to the multimillion-dollar facility but protects the assets of residents within the community.  Press-Release-May-2020-Flooding

Barriers on Broadway to Remain Through Rainy Season

Public Works employees worked most of the night adding extra protection along Broadway Street as the Illinois River rose to near-record levels. These barriers will remain in place for the rest of the rainy season.
