Marseilles Nursing Service
The mission of the Nursing Service is to provide caring health services to the residents of Marseilles.
In 1919 after World War 1, Marseilles had the opportunity to return a small sum to the Red Cross or establish a nursing service for the community. At that time, they opted to establish this service and it has been operating and assisting the citizens of Marseilles ever since. The Marseilles Nursing Service provides:
• In-home nurse visits
• Blood pressure & blood sugar screening
• Home health care medical supplies
• Medical equipment loan program
• Cooperating with doctors and other health agencies
• Catering to the elderly and their needs
• Providing free medical equipment such as hospital beds, canes, crutches, walkers, wheel chairs and more. (Small deposit required.)
